Cooling Components Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Cooling Components. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
1. General
All orders will be accepted subject to the following Conditions of Sale.
All manufacturers’ names, reference numbers and symbols, are used for reference purposes only.
These Terms govern your use of our website, and any service or product offered.
2. Use of website
You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You agree not to misuse the website, including but not limited to interfering with its operation or attempting to access restricted Areas.
3. Terms of Payment
Subject to status, Monthly Account – strictly 30days from date of invoice
Late payment – interest will be charged at Barclay’s base rate + 5%.
4. Title to Goods
Ownership of the goods to be delivered by the Seller will only be transferred to the Buyer when the Buyer has paid all monies owing to the Seller in respect of the goods concerned. Until date of payment the Buyer will store the goods in such a way as to show that they remain the property of the Seller. Until full payment from the Buyer to the Seller the Buyer shall keep the goods as bailee and hereby authorises the Seller to enter onto any premises in which the goods are stored in order to repossess the same should the Seller be so entitled under this or any other term of these conditions.
If the Buyer makes default in any term of these Conditions or if distress or execution shall be levied on the Buyer’s property or he shall enter into any arrangement with his creditors or commit any act of bankruptcy or if the Buyer being a Limited Company passes a resolution to wind up such Company’s business or a petition for winding up is presented against it or is a receiver of such Company’s undertaking property or assets or any part thereof shall be appointed, the Seller shall be entitled forthwith to determine any contract then subsisting and to exercise all or any remedies available to it for recovery of the goods and / or payment of money due.
5. Prices
All prices are Pounds Sterling.
Owing to present conditions, orders will only be accepted on the understanding that the prices charged will be those ruling at date of despatch.
6. Return of Goods
Any goods which have been supplied in accordance with a customer’s order, but which are subsequently returned, will only be credited provided that: –
- Our written permission has been obtained.
- The amount credited will be subject to a handling charge of 20%.
7. Claims
Claims for non-delivery must be made within 7 days of invoice date.
Claims for Pilferage and/or damage to be advised to both Consignor and Carrier within 3 days of receipt of goods.
8. Warranty
Faulty goods, due to manufacture or material defects will be replaced Free of Charge on a one for one basis. The supplier cannot be held responsible for product fitment. Any associated labour claims must be supported with documentary evidence, the goods in question must be returned to Cooling Components Ltd the supplier, where if deemed necessary they will be directed to the manufacturing plant for evaluation and report. Their decision will be final.
Only part only and labour charges will be associated with claims if applicable. Any other claimed made outside of these will not be applicable for example. Recovery of vehicle, hotel stays not applicable.
Full warranty procedure is available on request, which includes ICME times and rates.
Warranty forms must be completed in full and readily available on request.
9. Packages
Packing materials, cases, etc., will be free of charge and non-returnable.
10. Description
Every effort has been made to ensure that the goods described in the catalogues are accurate, but no warranty or responsibility will be accepted for any errors, miss-description, or any resulting damage.
11. Carriage
All prices quoted are on an Ex works basis.
12. Privacy
Your personal information under our privacy policy. By using our site, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in the policy.
13. Liability
Cooling Components is not liable for any damages arising from the use of our website or products, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
